General Information
Formerly known as the "Europe Cup", the European Club Championships is organized by Badminton Europe every year to determine the best club team in Europe.

The first of these competitions took place in Göppingen (Germany) in 1978.

The host and the exact dates for the 2017 European Club Championships are still to be confirmed. The previous event was held in Tours (France) in June 2016.

Detailed information on eligibility of players/teams, filling of entries, seeding procedures etc. can be found in Badminton Europe´s Competition Regulations.

SEEDING / DRAW
The strongest teams shall be seeded in order and one seeded team be placed in each Group.

The seeding will be done based on an overall assessment of:

- results of the club team in the previous three Championships taking special consideration to the results of the results the year before,
- results of other club teams of the same Member Association taking part in the European Club Championships in the previous three Championships taking special consideration to the results of the year before.

The number of teams seeded will be equivalent to the number of groups.
