QUALIFICATION / SEEDING
A maximum of 160 European players could qualify for the 2015 Baku European Games - 80 female and 80 male players.

In total 32 MS, 32 WS, 16 MD, 16 WD and 16 XD took part.

The qualifiers for the inaugural European Games were:

General Information / FACTS
The 2015 European Games were the inaugural edition of the European Games, a multi-sport event for European athletes, representing their National Olympic Commitees.

The 2015 European Games were held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 12-28 June 2015 and featured 19 different sports - badminton being one of these.

The badminton tournament was played from 22-28 June in the Baku Sports Hall, specially rebuilt for the European Games.

The 2019 European Games should be held in Minsk (Belarus) and it is hoped that badminton will be part of it.
