General Information

The European Junior Championships is an event for U19 players organized by Badminton Europe (BEC) every second year.

Both a team event and the five individual events are played during the 10 days long competition.
 
The 2022 event will be played from 18 to 27 August 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia.
 
Players must be born in 2004 or later.

The individual events will count towards the BWF World Junior Rankings.

SEEDING/ENTRIES/DRAWS
Team event
The seeding for the team event will be based on the results of the 2021 European U17 Team Championships, the 2020 European Junior Team Championships and the ranking published on 26/07/2022.

The seeded teams are:
1. France
2. Denmark
3/4. Germany & Spain
5/8. Czech Republic, England, Switzerland & Ukraine

The seeding for the individual events will be based on the ranking published on 02/08/2022.
