The Team Manager's Meeting will be held on Monday 13 February 2012 at 20.00 - all teams/associations must be represented
The Umpire's Briefing will be held on Monday 13 February 2012 at 21.00 - all umpires must be present
Transportation in Amsterdam -
Due to the heavy traffic in an around Amsterdam, and due to the good train
connections to the official tournament hotel “Novotel” from Amsterdam Airport,
Schiphol, there will be no transport from the airport to the hotel.
Trains are leaving from the centre of
the airport (underneath the mainhall). Here you must take a short train ride
and get off at the station Amsterdam Rai. The Novotel is
situatued about 125 meters to the right coming out of that station.
Departure time of the trains from Schiphol are:
….11 and …..41 minutes after the hour
to the direction Hilversum or ….25 and …..55 minutes
after the hour to the direction Almere Oostvaarders
In both cases the second stop is the station Amsterdam RAI
and it takes about 10 to 12 minutes.
The price is 2.50 euro per person.
On arrival to “Novotel” there will be a Badminton
counter in the lobby. If you are staying in another hotel than “Novotel”, transport
will be provided for you.
There will be transport from the hotels to the sportscentre at a
regular schedule. The schedule will be on the information board in the lobby of
the hotel and in the transport office at the sportscentre.
